Mexican Food - Chillies

Chillies are a vital part of Mexican cuisine. From the mildest of poblanos to the incendiary habanero, these groceries add both heat and flavour to a wide variety of dishes. Chillies are used in everything from salsas and guacamoles to enchiladas and tamales. They can also be found in many desserts, such as churros and flan. In Mexico, there is a saying that goes, “Sin chile, no hay comida”, or “Without chillies, there is no food.”
