Achiote paste is made with annatto seeds, cumin & Mexican spices. It can be used as a sauce, marinade or in delicious traditional Mexican dishes including cochinita pibil, fish pibil and Mexican chorizo. This particular version comes with the added kick of habanero!
Ingredients:
Water, cornmeal, achiote, iodised salt, acetic acid, habanero pepper, spices, red 40, yellow 5, yellow 6, blue 1, yellow 6, blue 1, 0.1% sodium benzoate and sorbate potassium as preservatives.
